BIOGRAPHY

With over eight years of teaching experience, Valeria has worked with students of all ages and levels, helping them build strong technical foundations, confidence, and musical artistry through personalized instruction. She believes in creating a supportive, encouraging, yet disciplined learning environment tailored to each student’s individual goals and needs. Valeria currently maintains a private teaching studio and also teaches at The Music Academy.

Originally from Cayey, Puerto Rico, Valeria is currently completing her Master’s in Cello Performance at Penn State University, where she studies under Kim Cook and serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. She has performed internationally in France, Turkey, Puerto Rico, and across the United States as both an orchestral and chamber musician.
